Darragh Ryan – Bio
I want to thank everyone who has helped me in getting Third Eye Radio Network up and going. It’s been an interesting experience thus far and I look forward to what the future brings. I started Third Eye Radio in order to hear something different than what we hear on mainstream radio. I was tired of hearing the same old songs day in and day out. Yes, I listen to Third Eye Radio all the time when I’m working in the studio office making fine tune adjustments.
I have created the schedule based on the daily mood that I go through from easy smooth songs to a workup of energetic build up throughout the day ending with a calm down type of music. Each day you’ll hear a variety of genres and artists as well as local and independent musicians. Our focus is to eventually have all independent bands and musicians.
I got started in audio in my high school days playing around with tape decks mixing my own playlists. Experimenting with equipment trying to figure out how I could mix and fade track to track. Eventually getting into turntables and CDJ’s and digital media. I got into online radio broadcasting thanks to a good friend of mine who introduced me to broadcasting and I fell in love with it. This evolved into station managing and operations and I had a dream of how it should be run so I started my own, welcome to Third Eye Radio Network, by a baby that is growing every day with your help. Like a child that the community raises, you partake in helping to raise my station and shape it to the needs of our community.
One of my goals is to have the ability to instruct blind people on using SPL and JAWS and learn the equipment to broadcast. You can see my progress of these instructions at our YouTube Channel Here.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to continuing to bring you what you want to hear.
